Light the menorah baby!

An inscribed menorah once owned by legendary entertainer Sammy Davis Jr. will be sold next month at auction in New York City.

Davis received the sterling-silver gift from a Jewish women's philanthropic organization in 1965.

The menorah was inscribed with a personal note: "To Sammy Davis Jr. whose achievements won by courage and integrity say to every man: Yes We Can."

"Yes, I Can" was the title of Davis' 1965 autobiography.

Davis converted to Judaism after he was nearly killed in a 1954 car crash.

Bidding starts at $10,000 and the menorah could sell for as much as $20,000 according to the New York Post.
